DONT JUDGE

                                       NON - JUDGEMENTAL OF OTHERS







          WHO ARE WE TO JUDGE ANYBODY - EACH ONE OF US COMES FROM DIFFERENT BACKGROUNDS, CARRY DIFFERENT BAGGAGE, AND IS AT A DIFFERENT LEVEL IN OUR KARMIC JOURNEY. EVERY INCIDENT HAPPENS IN OUR LIFE FOR A REASON DESIGNED BY THE ALMIGHTY TO HELP US GROW TO THE  NEXT LEVEL AND LEARN THE RIGHT LESSONS. 

        THIS IS EASIER SAID THAN DONE - WE ARE PROGRAMMED TO JUDGE PEOPLE SIMPLY BY THEIR ONE - TIME ACTION OR FEW REPETITIVE BEHAVIOURS. WE BECOME JUDGES AND DECLARE PEOPLE NUTS, CRAZY, RELIGIOUS, SUPERSTITIOUS, EGOISTIC, ARROGANT, BROKE, RICH, POOR, SMART, INTELLIGENT, DUMB, LAZY, SHREWD, AND SO ON. THE LIST IS ENDLESS.

       BY BECOMING JUDGMENTAL OF PEOPLE, WE INCREASE OUR OWN BAGGAGE. EVERY TIME YOU DEAL WITH SOMEONE, YOU START OBSERVING / LITENING TO HIM/HER THROUGH YOUR BIASED FILTER. WHETHER OR NOT IT AFFECTS THE OTHER PERSON, IT DEFINITELY TAKES AWAY YOUR INNOCENCES, CREATIVITY, OPEN MINDEDNESS, AND PEACE OF MIND. WHAT'S MORE - IT OFTEN ADDS TO YOUR STRESS LEVEL.

       LET ME SUGGEST A SIMPLE EXERCISE TO BECOME LESS JUDGEMENTAL OF OTHERS.

     MAKE A LIST OF THE PEOPLE WHO YOU DO NOT QUITE LIKE OR YOU ARE CRITICAL OF - MAKE AS LONG AS LIST AS YOU CAN, ADD A COLUMN TO THE SIDE, AND THEN, WRITE DOWN WHAT YOU THINK ABOUT THEM. BE HONEST, AND CLEARLY WRITE YOU FEEL ABOUT THEM AT THAT  INSTANT.

          ONCE DONE, GO THROUGH THE LIST AND ALL YOUR FANCY ASSESSMENTS OF THEM. LOOK AT IT FOR A WHILE, LAUGH OVER IT, AND DECIDE TO BECOME NON - JUDGEMENTAL OF THEM FROM THEN ON BY FLUSHING THAT LIST YOU JUST MADE LIKE A TISSUE PAPER, TELL YOURSELF I AM NOT GOING TO BE JUDGEMENTAL OF ANYBODY FROM NOW ON, AND I WILL OBSERVE EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING WITH NOW ON, AND I WILL OBSERVE EVERYBODY AND EVERYTHING WITH AN OPEN MIND TO EXPLORE A NEW VISTA OF LIFE.

        YOU MAY WONDER IF SUCH A SIMPLE ACT CAN REALLY CHANGE ONE'S BEHAVIOUR. THE ANSWER IS - YES IT CAN. THERE IS POWER IN WRITING WHAT YOU THINK OR SAY. IT WILL NOT CHANGE YOUR BEHAVIOUR COMPLETELY THE MOMENT YOU DO THIS BUT YOU WILL DEFINITELY MAKE A NEW BEGINNING. IF YOU ARE SINCERE AND COMMITTED ABOUT CHANGING YOURSELF, YOU HAVE ALREADY TAKEN THE FIRST STEP.

        WE HAVE NO IDEA HOW BIG A BAG OF JUDGEMENT OF OTHER PEOPLE WE CARRY ALL OUR LIFE - FREE YOURSELF OF THIS BURDEN, AND YOU WILL REDISCOVER YOURSELF. PEOPLE AROUND YOU WILL STILL BE THE SAME BUT SOON, THEY WILL FIND YOU TO BE DIFFERENT ONCE YOU START PRACTISING BEING NON - JUDGEMENTAL OF THEM. THE BAGGAGE IS NOT WORTH IT - YOU WILL FEEL LIGHTER AND HAPPIER ONCE YOU START PRACTISING THIS.


                                                 STOP BEING HARD ON YOURSELF






 
          YES,. WE NEED TO BE DISCIPLINED, SELF - DRIVEN, GOAL - ORIENTED, AND DO  WHATEVER IT TAKES ONECE WE UNDERTAKE SOMTHING. HOWEVER, THIS DOES NOT MEAN THAT WE HAVE TO WORK OURSELVES TO DEATH, BE SO HARD ON OURSELVES THAT WE BREAK DOWN, OR DRAIN OURSELVES  OF ALL OUR ENERGY / HEALTH THAT WE ARE LEFT WITH NOTHING TO CHERISH OUR ACCOPLISHMENT.
        THIS IS EASIER SAID THAT DONE. BUT, BELIEVE ME, IT TAKES SERIOUS INTROSPECTION BEFORE YOU REALISE THIS SIMPLE FACT. UNLESS YOU SET YOUR PRIORITIES RIGHT AND KNOW THE TRUE PURPOSE OF YOUR LIFE, YOU WILL ONLY BE HEADING FOR AN EARLY GRAVE BY BEING SO HARD ON YOURSELF.
         ONCE YOU KNOW YOUR PURPOSE  AND ARE CLEAR ABOUT YOUR PRIORITIES, YOU WILL DO THE SAME THING BUT WITH BETTER CONVICTION AND NO BAGGAGE OF THE FEAR OF FAILURE. YOU WILL ENJOY THE JOURNEY BECAUSE YOU DO NOT HAVE TO PROVE ANYTHING TO ANYBODY. YOU ARE SIMPLY DOING WHAT YOU ARE MEANT TO, WHICH MEANS YOU WILL LIVE EVERY SINGLE MOMENT FULLY.

       DO WHAT YOU ARE MEANT TO, AND YOU WILL LIVE EVERY SINGLE MOMENT FULLY

           YES, AT TIMES, YOU WILL BE ENGROSSED. WORKING ON PROJECTS WITH LASER - SHARP FOCUS IGNORING EVERYTHING AROUND YOU BUT YOU WILL HAVE THAT DEEP SENSE OF SATISFACTION IN WORKING FOR A CAUSE. NO AMOUNT OF MIDNIGHT - OIL - BURNING WILL HURT YOU.

           OCCASIONALLY, INDULGE YOURSELF, AND ENJOY YOUR FAVOURITE FOODS EVEN IF YOU ARE ON A STRICT DIET. TAKE SHORT WALKS IN THE MIDST OF YOUR VERY TIGHT AND BUSY SCHEDULE. SWITCH YOURSELF OFF FOR A FEW MOMENTS WHEN YOU FEEL OVERWHELMED. LAUGH A BIT MORE, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE TENSED ! LAUGH EVEN LOUNDER AT YOUR FAILURES. LIVE LIFE AS THOUGH YOU ARE SIMPLY PERFORMING DUTIES THE ALMIGHTY DESIGNED FOR YOU - SO, WHY WORRY!






            I HAVE WORKED NIGHT AFTER NIGHT FOR YEARS PREPARING MY NEVER - ENDING BUSINESS PRESENTATIONS AND SPENDING MY DAYS IN BUSINESS MEEINGS, FORGETTING MY FAMILY COMPLETELY AS IF THEY DID NOT EXIST. IT TOOKS ME A GOOD NUMBER OF YEARS TO COME TO TERMS WITH MYSELF. SO, DONT BE MAD AT YOURSELF. AS TODAY'S YOUNGTERS SAY - CHILL. EVERYTHING WILL BE FINE - THE HEAVENS ARE NOT GOING TO FALL IT YOU SET DOWN THE BAGGAGE OF WORRIES YOU CARRY ON YOUR SHOULDERS MINDLESSLY.


             TELL YOURSELF ALL IS WELL AS MANY TIMES YOU CAN
